My role as a bodyworker is to provide a safe and comfortable space to receive positive touch. I want to help my clients to maintain health and optimal functionality. My clients arrive at my office with various needs, pains, injuries and age related symptoms. I want to know their goals and hopes in order to make a positive change in their body.
I want my clients to feel the best that they can feel as they move through life. Our bodies work hard and need loving care to keep them healthy. Therapeutic bodywork restores the body and calms the mind creating health and balance. Creating positive changes through touch in the soft tissue and connective tissue allows for the body to be more functionally dynamic.
Over the past 21years I have worked with my clients to maintain their bodies so that they feel their best while taking care of their families, at rest, at work, in retirement and in play. I enjoy working with all types of bodies and love seeing my clients transform during a session. Bodywork gives us the ability to take on the stresses of life with ease.
I am glad to be in the western Massachusetts area. My inspiration for bodywork comes from interacting with many excellent bodyworkers. Larry Redding, a Rolfer in Lawrence Kansas has greatly influenced my work. Continuing education classes in Rolfing, structural integration, traditional Thai massage and visceral manipulation have made my work as a bodyworker more capable and competent.
